The Colico Lake is located to 15,53 miles of the city of Cunco and the passage does not delay more than l one hour in vehicle, from Temuco, in direction towards to the pre cordilleran zone by the north and also with access from Villarrica by the south.

It includes a surface destined to the recreational tourist activities of approximately 34,18 miles.

The coast is irregular and exist narrow and rocky beaches. The waters of the Colico Lake are transparent and lukewarm.
